The inaugural Lincoln South Football Club Goods & Services Auction was held on Saturday night. The Auction was held in conjunction with the 1957 and 1972 Premiership reunions, it was great to see some familiar faces around the club again, their attendance certainly made the evening feel special.

As the major fundraiser for 2017 the Auction was an resounding success with lots consistently going over and above expectation. As with any fundraising auction event, it’s success is a direct result of the quality of Goods & Services up for grabs, as well as the willingness and generosity of those undertaking the bidding. The LSFC was extremely lucky to have both great quality lots and a host of very competitive bidders on the night. There were many highlights on the night with entertaining bidding taking place under the watchful eye of club’s favourite Auctioneer Malcolm Bagnell, with the undoubted highlight being the battle for the 1946 Premiership replica Guernsey, which ended up going for in excess of $2000. Congratulations and thankyou to all those who put their hands in their pockets and won their respective lots.

The Club would like to thank the entire committee for all of its hard work in getting the night together – especially Luke Duncan for his tireless work and leadership in producing a great evening for all. This was a new event on the LSFC calendar and no doubt we all look forward to more in the future.
